In a statement issued in Abuja on Monday, the group’s spokesperson, Abubakar Muhammad Kebbi, highlighted the governor’s commitment to improving the living conditions of Kebbi residents through various developmental initiatives.

“We recognise and appreciate the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Nasir Idris, in driving growth across key sectors in Kebbi State,” the statement read.

The group particularly commended the governor’s focus on education, noting that his administration has prioritised school renovations, providing learning materials, and recruiting more teachers.

They also lauded his contributions to humanitarian aid, citing support for vulnerable communities and intervention programmes to alleviate poverty.

On infrastructure, the association acknowledged the ongoing construction and rehabilitation of roads, bridges, and public facilities, which they believe will boost economic activities and improve the standard of living in the state.

Security was another key area in which the governor received commendation. The group credited his administration for working closely with security agencies to tackle challenges such as banditry and other criminal activities, ensuring a safer environment for residents.

Governor Nasir Idris, who assumed office in 2023, has implemented various policies to foster economic growth and social development in Kebbi State.

His administration has also actively attracted investment and fostered partnerships to accelerate progress.

The Association of Kebbi State Concerned Citizens urged the governor to sustain his efforts and continue implementing policies that would bring further development to the state. They also called on residents to support his administration in achieving a collective vision for a better Kebbi.
