The Commissioners’ Forum in Kebbi State under the leadership of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abubakar Umar Dutsinmari, has secured a nomination form for Governor Nasir Idris for a second term in office come 2027.

While presenting the form to the governor at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, the chairman of the forum,  Dutsinmari said the group decided to buy the form because of his unprecedented achievements within his first term in office and the forum wants such laudable achievements to continue in his second term in 2027.

He said, “We quickly bought this form for you in order not to miss you in 2027 considering the laudable achievements your first term in office recorded in Kebbi State.

“Your Excellency, we need a dedicated and patriotic person like you to lead Kebbi State again in 2027 so that we continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy,” Dutsinmari added.

Receiving the form, Idris thanked the forum for the gesture and assured the members that he would fill and submit to the authority concerned.

He disclosed that before 2023 elections, he wanted to become the national president of NLC, but Allah SWT in His power changed it to be the governor of Kebbi State.
