Kebbi State Pilgrims’ Welfare Agency (KBSPWA) has commenced the distribution of uniforms and bags to this year’s intending pilgrims.
The distribution ceremony which was launched by the deputy speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Bambu-Bagudo and the wife of the Kebbi State governor Nasare Nasir Idris held yesterday at the state’s Hajj Camp in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
The items included clothes for males, two bundles of wrappers and hijab for their female counterparts.
At the ceremony, the chairman of the agency, Faruku Yaro Enabo, said the items distributed were contributions from governor Nasir Idris.
He urged the pilgrims to reciprocate the gesture by always remembering the governor in their prayers both here in Nigeria and in the Holy Land.
