The members of the union commended the governor during a press conference held yesterday in Birnin Kebbi.

Chairman and secretary of ASUU Aleiro branch,  Dr Abubakar Birnin Yauri and Comrade Abubakar Musa respectively told journalists that the approval followed their recent letter of complaint to the government over the non- implementation of the new package in the university which the governor listened and gave approval.

” So, we deemed it necessary for us to invite you, members of the media, to extend the message of our esteemed gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, a Comrade Governor, for listening to our complaints, “the ASUU Union leaders said.

“These developments are morale boosters for us to reciprocate the gesture by giving out our profound service delivery that would rank KSUSTA among the top best academic performing universities in Nigeria,” they added.

They also noted the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education, Head of Service and the Vice Chancellor of the University Aleiro, Prof Danshehu Bagudu Gwadangaji, and his management team for their commitment to improving staff and student welfare, the numerous infrastructural development projects, and promoting academic excellence.
