The Indigenous Company, New Horizon Limited Birnin Kebbi in Kebbi State has pledged to complete the rehabilitation work of Ambursa to Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport ( SABIA) awarded by governor, Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu within two months.
Briefing newsmen on Monday over the development at the construction site at SABIA gate outskirts of Birnin Kebbi metropolis, managing director and chief executive officer of Company, Engr Dr Abubakar Muhammed Dakingari disclosed that the rehabilitation work was awarded to his company at the cost of N977 million naira by the state government under the able leadership of governor, Nasir Idris.
According to him, the contract consists of asphalt overlay of 3.2 kilometers, Surface dressing 6.4 kilometres, drainages, stone pitched, 2- nos culverts, channelization of Airport sunchain, road markings and signs and modernisation of SABIA main entrance gate.
Engr Dr Dakingari however noted that the rehabilitation work which Commenced and has reached advanced stage is expected to be completed within the time frame of two months.
He commended the governor for awarding such a contract to his Indigenous firm which according to him will uplift its standardisation and be proudly with Kauran Gwandu’s administration.
He also promised to complete the contract within the specification period and with the quality it deserves.
