Kebbi Loses Retired Jurist, Justice Muhammed Argungu

A renowned Jurist in Kebbi State, Justice Usman Muhammed Argungu Rtd, dies.

He died in the early hours of Sunday after a brief illness in his hometown, Argungu, which is part of the Argungu local government area of Kebbi State.

The deceased Leadership gathered from his family is a retired Justice of the Supreme Court in Abuja.

According to Islamic injunctions, he has since been buried in his hometown, Argungu.

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has since extended his condolences to the deceased‘s family, the emir of Argungu, Samaila Muhammed Mera, and the entire learned in the Supreme Court.

He described him as an honest man who contributed to Nigeria‘s rule of law and judicial reform. Many people trooped to the deceased‘s residence in Argungu to condole his family.
