Kebbi State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has elected new executive members with Comrade Murtala Usman as chairman.
Usman was elected along with seven other members at the 13th delegates’ conference of congress in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital.
Other members include Kilani Abdul-Waliyu as vice chairman, Alice Udu vice chairman 11, Comrade Abubakar Chika from RATTAWU (treasurer), Dalhatu Usman Bashar (auditor), Umar Bawa (auditor 11), Samira Bawa ex-officio 1 and Suwaiba Adamu as ex-officio 11.
At the event, national president of NLC represented by Mr Uche Egue who was the returning officer commended the delegates for their maximum cooperation during the election.
He urged the new leadership to complement the efforts of the previous exco members for better results in the state.
