State chairman of the NLC,  Comrade Murtala Usman made the assurance when he addressed journalists in his office in Birnin Kebbi.

He said that the government was bitterly annoyed with the action, and the governor has directed the Union with immediate effect to retrieve all the amount being deducted from the workers in their September salaries.

“A committee has been constituted by our union in order to spring into action to investigate how this unsympathetic action was done and ensure the retrieval of the deduction made by the unpatriotic officials,” Comrade Usman said.

“We are expected to retrieve about fourteen million naira dedicated from the illegal deduction,” he added.

The chairman, however, urged the affected victims to exercise patience, as the leadership of the union pledged to retrieve all the figures deducted from them.
