Kebbi State government has presented 26 official cars to members of the State Executive Council (SEC) to enhance their performance.
While presenting the vehicles to the beneficiaries, Governor Nasir Idris, urged the commissioners to utilise the vehicles for the purpose it was bought.
He said, “We cannot allow to see our commissioners going to office on private or commercial vehicles when the governor was moving with a convoy of vehicles behind him. As members of my cabinet, whatever I enjoy, equally you must enjoy it, if there is justification.”
The governor said the state government would provide another set of official vehicles for the special advisers and members of the state House of Assembly.
