Kebbi Receives Security Team On Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway

Kebbi State government has received security team from the federal government to contain the security situation along Sokoto- Badagry Superhighway.

While receiving them in his office at Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi deputy governor of  the state, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida assured the team of the state government’s support and cooperation, commending President Bola Ahmad Tinubu for approving the project, which positively impacts people.

He also praised the state governor, Dr. Nasir Idris’ commitment towards the project.

Speaking earlier, senior special assistant to the Minister of Works, Retired General Abubakar Saed had requested state government support for the success of their assessment tour.

He told the deputy governor that, the team comprised Gen. Kunle Shodunke (Rtd), the SSA Security, AIG Aliyu Garba (Rtd), SSA Security, Gen. Abubakar Saed (Rtd) SSA Security, Mr. William Barkhuisen – Hitech, Mr. Peter Badenhorst- Hitech and Engr. Vandu Ishaya from Federal Ministry of Works.
