The commissioner of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in Kebbi State, Hon. Nuradden Bala Fingiller, has said that his ministry registered 755 Cooperative Youth Associations between 2023 and 2026.

He stated this on Tuesday when he briefed Journalists on the progress recorded by the Kauran Gwandu-led administration within three years in office.

He noted that the list would soon be submitted to the state’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry for proper documentation. “The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, which is saddled with the responsibility for registration of all associations, will make proper documentation of our registered cooperative youth associations and subsequently issue them certificates of operation, ” The Commissioner said.

This will allow them to operate as a small or intermediate business and trade partners in their respective areas or domains across the state,” he added.

According to the Commissioner, the initiative aims to make youths job creators in the state.
