Kebbi’s 1st Private Varsity To Commence Operations In January

The management of Rayhaan University, the first private university established in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State has concluded arrangements to start academic activities in January, 2024.

Its pioneer vice chancellor, Professor Muhammed Lawal Amadu, announced this yesterday during an interview in his office in Birnin Kebbi metropolis.

He said that the university has already received its licence of operation after the verification visit by the officials of National Universities Commission (NUC) on 9th December, 2023.

According to the VC, 15 courses namely; Computer Science, Software Engineering,  Forensic Science,  International Relations and Diplomacy,  Business and Investment as well as Digital and Entrepreneurship among others  were approved by the NUC which paves way for the university to commence its academic activities fully in January,  2024.

He called on Birnin Kebbi and neighbouring communities to see the university as their own by admitting their children and wards into the institution.
