The victim, a 48-year-old man whose identity remains undisclosed, was abducted on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in Fordsburg, Johannesburg.

Remarkably, within less than 24 hours, the SAPS team tracked down both the victim and the suspects to a lodge in Ferndale, Randburg, on Thursday evening.

The statement further detailed that six vehicles, believed to be used by the suspects, were seized and impounded for further investigation.

Additionally, money withdrawn from the businessman’s bank account during the ordeal has been successfully recovered.
