The couple, who tied the knot in March 2014, share one son, 11-year-old Wolfe Lee Leissner. In court documents, Tim reportedly is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their son, along with spousal support.
This marriage has faced several public controversies over the years. In a past court case, Tim admitted to faking divorce papers from a previous marriage so that he could marry Kimora.
This marks the second divorce for Kimora Lee Simmons, who was previously married to music mogul Russell Simmons.
