Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Saturday participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election at his Uporogo/Odenku Ward in Okene Local
Government Area of the state.
Speaking after casting his vote, Governor Ododo commended party officials for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise across the ward.
He expressed confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the administration’s policies and programmes would bring greater prosperity to Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
Similarly, former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, also took part in the primary election, where President Tinubu emerged as the preferred candidate of the party in his ward.
Speaking after voting, Bello praised President Tinubu’s leadership style and ongoing reforms, noting that the administration is laying a solid foundation for economic growth, stability and national unity.
He urged APC members and supporters to remain united and committed to the President’s vision ahead of the next general elections.
