Kogi Assembly Confirms Ododo’s 18 New Commissioners

The Kogi State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed the nomination of 18 nominees as commissioners.

The names of the nominees were presented by the new governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, to the Assembly.

The new commissioners are Engr. Farouk Danlami Yusuf, Barr Salami Ozigi-Deedat, Basiru Abubakar Gegu, Dr Adams Abdulaziz, and Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun Stephen.

Others are Muizideen Yinusa Abdullahi, SAN, Rabiatu Okute, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, Fatima Momoh, Engr. Mohammed Yusuf, Timothy Ojoma, Sunday Faleke, Mr Abanika Taye, Asiwaju Idris Asiru, Engr.

Mohammed Adbulmutalib, Wemi Jones, Mohammed Shuaibu, and Aridajo Monday.

While giving the report of the House Committee of the Whole, the speaker disclosed that all 18 commissioners-designate had been found worthy to serve as members of the State Executive Council after a thorough screening.
