Governor Bello spoke at the launch of the Emblem for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in the state, held in Lokoja.

The governor said the ex-servicemen have rendered selfless service to the nation hence the need to continually appreciate them annually.

He pointed out that officers and men of the various security outfits are people that should be supported at all times, saying that signing a document to lay their lives for others was the highest level of sacrifice a man can render for another.

Bello stressed the need to continually support the families of the fallen heroes, the living ex-servicemen and serving officers, describing their service to the country and humanity as unquantifiable.
