Kogi Govt Pledges Robust Relationship With Dangote Cement

Kogi State government through the speaker of the House of Assembly Hon. Umar Yusuf has said the current administration is committed to building a robust relationship with Dangote Cement Plc.
Yusuf spoke on Thursday in Lokoja, the state capital during the handing over ceremony of a multi-million-naira security outpost built by Dangote Cement Plc.

The outpost, sited within the premises of the state House of Assembly in Lokoja, is to enhance security at the House of the Assembly.

He commended the company for supporting the state in the maintenance of peace and security.

“This act of generosity has further cemented our relationship. We sincerely appreciate the gesture, and we are not taking it for granted,” the speaker said.

Yusuf commended the founder of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, for his foresight, business acumen and humanitarian services.
