A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Executive Secretary of Kogi State Office For Disability Affairs, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has boasted that Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, will get the political shocker of his life in the forthcoming Kogi governorship election with an uncontestable defeat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
LEADERSHIP reports that Governor Adeleke is the chairman of the PDP National Campaign Council for the Kogi State governorship election.
Barr. Zacchaeus spoke in response to Governor Adeleke, who said he has defeated an incumbent before and was coming to lead PDP to victory in the forthcoming November 11 Kogi governorship election.
The APC chieftain described the PDP governorship candidate, Senator Dino Melaye, as a disaster with no electoral value, saying he could not even deliver his House of Assembly candidate in the last elections.
While pointing out that Kogi State is not Osun, Zacchaeus said Governor Yahaya Bello has a lot of achievements that were visible, which will also make the APC win overwhelmingly.
He claimed that the PDP is an empty shell, adding that all the PDP leaders and members have all joined the APC, wondering how the opposition party will win the governorship election when it has no structure and even a single individual who can lead the party in the State.
He described the PDP candidate as one that is not marketable, saying his clownish politics has made him not to be marketable and salable.
He noted that the scenario in Kogi was different from that of Osun State, saying the last governorship contest in Osun was one between the APC and APC.
