A political group, Abdul Obodo Youth Vanguard has pledged support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo, ahead of the November 11 Kogi State governorship election.

The group which comprised supporters drawn from the three senatorial districts of the state, declared their resolve to ensure the Kogi agenda comes to pass through Ododo’s mandate.

The group had mobilised various support groups  to Suleja, Niger State, as part of preparations for the governorship election.

Guest speaker at the event, Dr Shaibu Omeiza Musari, said he was impressed to see various stakeholders, representatives of all ethnic groups at the event.

He said the gathering demonstrated the love that people of Kogi State have for the APC candidate.

Stressing the need for unity in Kogi State, Shaibu said the state stands to gain a lot of benefits when they all  unite for a common agenda.

Shaibu, an estate developer, also commended the State Governor Yahaya Bello for improving infrastructure in the state and enhancing the quality of education in the state through the creation of a new state University.
