The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) has declared the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of all 21 chairmanship seats in the October 20 local government elections held in the State.
Declaring the results at the commission’s headquarters in the wee hours of Sunday, the chairman of the electoral commission, Mamman Nda-Eri, said the APC won in all the 21 local government areas.
According to him, the ruling party also won all the 239 ward councillorship positions.
He described the election exercise as free, fair and credible.
