The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), has declared the All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner of the 19th October local government elections held in the state.

Declaring the results at the commission’s headquarters, the chairman, Mamman Nda-Eri said the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in all the 21 local government chairmanship seats.

According to him, the ruling party also won all 239 ward councillor positions.

He described the election as free, fair and credible.
