The vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has urged Nigerians to follow him on TikTok for updates on his activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Kwankwaso, who is running alongside Peter Obi, announced his presence on the video-sharing platform in a post on his official X account.
“I am on TikTok! I encourage you all to follow me there for authentic information, the latest updates, and exclusive contents directly related to my daily life. Nigeria will be OK,” he wrote.
The move comes as political figures increasingly use social media to communicate with supporters and engage voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
Kwankwaso and Obi have attracted considerable attention online, where their supporters share political messages and mobilise support for their ambitions.
