The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State yesterday launched its chairmanship and councillorship campaigns ahead of the local government election scheduled for September 21, 2024.

The state deputy chairman of APC, Abdullahi Samari, officiated the event on behalf of Prince Sunday Fagbemi, the chairman.

The event was held at Government Day Secondary School Karuma, Akerebiata, Ilorin playing ground.
Personalities that graced the occasion included the chief of staff to the governor, Alh AbdulKadir Mahe, special adviser /counselor, Alh Saadu Salahu, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki, the commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdulquawiy Cook- Olodo, the commissioner for Environment, Nafisat Buge, the commissioner for Forestry, Business, Technology, and Innovation, Damilola Adelodun, commissioner for Education, Sa’adatu Moddibo- Kawu, commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Dr Afees Abolore, among others.
