Kwara Assembly Passes N656.5bn 2026 Budget

The Kwara State House of Assembly, on Friday, passed a sum of N656,595,559,298.49 as 2026 budget for the state.

The approval of the sum of N656,595,559,298.49 for the 2026 fiscal year saw an increase of N10,590,742,405.49 on the earlier budget estimates of
N646,004,816,893 presented to the House by the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq

The passage of the 2026 Appropriation Bill followed the presentation and adoption of the report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation on the 2026 Money Bill.

The chairman of the committee, Hon. Arinola Lawal, laid the report at the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu.
