The commissioner for Social Development, Dr Mariam Nnafatima Imam, presented the items to the caregivers at Bawa, Sabo-Line, the babies’ family house.
She said the donation was to bring relief to the triplets’ family and caregivers.
The imam said the gesture reflected the state government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable people and promoting acts of kindness and generosity.
She stressed that the state government is passionate about the welfare of the citizens and that her ministry would not renege on its mandate of assisting the less privileged in the state.
Imam emphasised the ministry’s passion for philanthropy and dedication to helping the less privileged, appealing to the caregivers to ensure the triplets under their care are taken for their scheduled immunisations to keep them up to date on all vaccines.
Responding on behalf of the family, the Magaji of Bawa Compound, Alh Hassan Bawa, expressed their profound gratitude to the state government for its compassion and concern for the family’s plight.
Bawa specifically thanked the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for blessing the state’s people.
