The Emir of Ilorin and chairman of Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alh  Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has declared Kwara is lucky to be blessed with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The Emir spoke when a high- power delegation of the state government paid a condolence visit to his  palace in Ilorin over the demise of the district head of Ballah in Asa local government area of the state, Alh Yahaya AbdulKadir.

The delegation which comprised the senior adviser and counselor, Alh Saadu Salahu, special adviser on Special Duties, Alh AbdulRazaq Jiddah and the chairman of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Ilorin, Alh AbdulLateef Alakawa and senior special assistant on Religion (Islam), Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro, delivered the governor’s condolence message to the the Emir.

The Emir who described Governor AbdulRazaq as a man highly favored by the Almighty Allah said ” we thank Allah for giving us Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. We also thank Allah for guiding the governor aright, judging from the successes that his administration has recorded.”

” Every rational person will know that God is behind Governor AbdulRazaq. In quick succession, he was elected as the chairman of the Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum (NGF), honoured with the title of Commander of Order of Niger( CON) and also got the title of Sardauna of Ilorin. These three honours are  well-deserved an we are always very proud of his achievements. May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen and protect him,”  the Emir added.

Sulu- Gambari, therefore, warned detractors against distracting  Governor AbdulRazaq from the good work he’s doing for Ilorin and Kwara as a whole.

Earlier, the chairman of Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Alh AbdulLateef Alakawa, had  thanked the Emir for his prayer and consistent support for Governor AbdulRazaq.
