The state commissioner for tertiary education, Dr Afees Abolore, broke the cheering news in Ilorin, the state capital yesterday.

Abolore, in a statement signed by the ministry’s press secretary, Mansurat Amuda- Kannike, said the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, “has graciously approved that the students should be transported to their various destinations free of charge.”

He said that students travelling to the northern states are expected to appear for a brief documentation on the same day of their departure within the premises of the Ministry of Tertiary Education.

“The ministry is also at the verge of concluding the bursary disbursement when online porter registration of would-be beneficiaries is opened.
