Kwara’s Community Hails Tinubu, AbdulRazaq, IGP Over Projects

The people of Afon, the headquarters of Asa local government area of Kwara State, have  praised President Bola Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq  over the on going multi billion naira Eiyenkorin-Afon- Offa- Odo Otin road project and the comprehensive renovation of Afon General Hospital.

They said the two projects will fast track socio- economic transformation and enhance the well being of the people of Afon constituency.

The leader of Afon community,  Alh Yisa Alagbede, thanked Tinubu and AbdulRazaq on behalf of his people  during an interview with LEADERSHIP.

Alagbede said  the two projects, when completed would have positive impact on the socio-economic transformation and wellbeing of the people of the area.

“I want to  commend President Bola Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman Abdul Razaq for ensuring that the two projects progress steadily. With these, the APC led government has demonstrated its commitment towards ensuring the well being of all and sundry,” he said.

He also commended the inspector general of Police, Mr  Kayode Egbetokun and the Emir of Ilorin,  Alh. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari for ensuring the citing of the proposed Nigerian Police Training School in Afon and appealed for early take off of the project. Alagbede  appealed for the reactivation of Afon and Pampo water works to ensure adequate water supply,pointing out that Afon water work was commissioned in 1977  while Pampo water work was commissioned in 1985.
