As part of its efforts to sensitise Lagos residents on its achievements, the state government hosted a ‘Showcase Session’ at the Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to enumerate impacts of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

The event, which was hosted by the Lagos State attorney-general and commissioner for justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN), also saw some of the state’s officials giving account of their stewardship in the last three and half years.

In his address, Onigbanjo said the showcase session presented an opportunity for the state’s handlers to highlight some of the achievements of the Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

He said the presentations, which covered climate change, healthcare, infrastructure development and land management in Lagos as well as emergency management and security, were designed to educate lawyers and informed them there was more than the state was doing beyond what they see.

The commissioner said there were a lot of projects and programmes that would come to fruition in the nearest future to ensure Lagosians enjoy the dividends of democracy as well as good governance.

Other speakers at the section included the commissioner for environment and water resources, Tunji Bello, the commissioner for health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, the special adviser to the governor on works and infrastructure, Mrs. Aramide Adeyoye.

They also included the permanent secretary of Lands Bureau, Bode Agoro, the permanent secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu; managing director (LAMATA).

Others were Engineer, Abimbola Akinajo; GM Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA), Mrs. Ibilola Kasunmu, and executive secretary, Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi amongst others.
