The Lagos State government through the state’s Ministry of Education has sealed the Greater Scholars International School located in the Ajah area of the state over the alleged defilement of a four-year-old minor.
According to a post on the social media “X” page of the Lagos Domestic Sexual Violence Agency (LDSVA), ‘’The Perpetrator, David James has since been arraigned for the offense and remanded”
It was gathered that the pupil was allegedly defiled by the school’s security guard, identified as David James, on April 27, 2023, under the guise of cleaning her up.
The Lagos Sexual Violence Domestic Agency stated in an earlier post it acted based on a report received on May 3rd, 2023, through a toll-free line by promptly referring g the child for medical and psychosocial support.
The agency’s prompt action was further gathered, leading to the arrest of the suspect by the men of the Ajiwe FSU Police Division.
The suspect has been arraigned before Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi of Magistrate’s Court 1, Ogba, on one count of sexual assault and subsequently remanded.
