A former minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, has commended the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for maximizing the massive solid mineral deposits in the state for the benefit of the people.
The former minister who is also the managing partner of Bruit Costaud, a policy advisory firm, said Governor Sule has been able to use his experiences with renowned private conglomerates by attracting investors to explore the solid mineral potentials in the state.

He said the efforts have led to the establishment of companies which has enhanced the state’s internally generated revenue and provided employment opportunities to many youths in the state.
He spoke when he led top management of the firm on a courtesy visit to Governor Sule on Wednesday in Lafia.
The former minister also commended the governor for the massive infrastructural development across the state, noting that Sule’s overwhelming victory in the governorship election was a “huge testament of your first term achievements, the effectiveness of your governance style, your grassroots popularity, and the appeal across the state.”

He said, “On our way to Lafia, the state capital, we were greeted not only by the natural beauty of Nasarawa State but also by the remarkable landmarks of progress that adorn its landscape, testifying to the visionary leadership of Your Excellency. I also recall that as Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, I paid a two-day visit to Nasarawa State in 2021, during which I witnessed the massive infrastructural development under your leadership when myself in the company of Directors-General of National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, and Nigerian Tourism Development Authority visited the Farin Ruwa waterfalls and other infrastructural projects in Nasarawa State.

“Your commitment to inclusivity and dialogue has been instrumental in bridging divides and building bridges of understanding among various ethnic, religious, and cultural groups in Nasarawa State.”
He said Bruit Costau, also known as BC Advisory –the local partners of the world-renowned Ballard Partners Group, is ready to work with the state government towards achieving its mandate of transforming the state to key industrial hub.

“We believe that collaboration between our firm and the government of Nasarawa State can yield significant benefits for the people of the state. By leveraging our expertise in policy analysis, research, and strategic communication, we can assist in crafting evidence-based policies that address the most pressing challenges facing the state,” he said.
