Langtang North Council Impounds Expired Drugs, Others

Several fake and expired products were seized from shops and kiosks in Langtang North local government areas of Plateau State yesterday.

The chairman of the council, Hon Pirfa Tyem, said  the items endanger the health and lives of his people, and their circulation will not be tolerated.

He added that ” We had earlier warned merchants of these fake products in circulation. Let it be known that the law spares no defaulters and anyone caught still in this act will face the full consequences.”

Tyem further stressed, “We will continue to track down and eliminate every harmful product threatening our communities. Public health is non-negotiable.”

He also pledged to ensure that merchants of such acts are brought to book to serve as a deterrent to others.
