Lagos State University (LASU) has taken a significant step towards advancing its vision of academic excellence and global relevance by signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with ten distinguished organizations.
According to a statement by the media unit of LASU, the agreements were signed on August 18, 2025, at the Senate Chamber, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, LASU Main Campus, Ojo.
The MoUs span diverse areas including research, innovation, professional training, and industry collaboration.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, emphasised that the MoUs symbolize a new phase of technical cooperation, uniting academic excellence with practical innovation and scholarly rigor with industry expertise.
The partnerships will enable the University to expand the impact of its research outputs, foster cross-sectoral engagements, and contribute to sustainable development.
Some of the organisations that signed MoUs with LASU include the Institute of Supervision and Leadership (ISL), Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), KAP Film and Television Academy, TC Resources Technologies (UK) Limited, Dlong Media International Limited, De Root Renaissance, Energy Services Systems Managers Limited (ESSML), Universal Research Training Institute (URTI), and Decent Work, Labour, and Skills Development Services.
The partner organidations praised LASU’s visionary leadership and commitment to purposeful collaboration, expressing readiness to work together to advance research, innovation, and community impact.
The ceremony also featured the presentation of plaques and certificates to the Vice-Chancellor and the Director of LASU Consult Limited.
