The third and latest instalment of the Venom movie franchise will premiere in cinemas on October 25, 2024.

Originally scheduled to release November 8, 2024, the third Venom movie titled Venom 3: The Last Dance will see actor Tom Hardy reprise the main role Eddie Brock, with co-star Juno Temple alongside new cast members Clark Backo (Supernatural) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange). The story was created by Kelly Marcel and Tom Hardy, directed by Marcel, and produced by both Marcel, Hardy, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker.

While this is the third Venom movie, it is the sixth installment of the movie series that makes up Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU). Along with the previous venom films, the franchise also consists of Morbius and Madame Webb. The upcoming film Kraven the Hunter is also a part of the same continuity, and is set to hit theatres this year, on August 30, 2024.

Following the huge failure of Madame Webb, the box office, the performances of these Venom 3: The Last Dance and Kraven the Hunter will likely determine what will happen next with the SSU after this year.
