JUST-IN: Peter Obi, Moghalu Cast Votes, Raise Alarm Over ‘Vote Buying’

Students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Iseyin Campus in Oyo State, on Monday protested absence of lecturers who usually come to the campus from Ogbomoso.

The students also claimed that the cost of transportation and accommodation have gone beyond their financial capabilities since their resumption after their last holiday.

A student who pleaded for anonymity said, “I was just informed that agriculture department students were currently protesting for some facilities to be made available for use at their farms and some other peculiar requests like transportation costs, housing and others.

“I appeal on the education committee to kindly liase with the school management for prompt resolution.”

He also called on the state government to immediately find solutions to their grievances so that the new academic session would not be disturbed.
