The lawmaker representing Yola North in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Kabiru Mijinyawa, has commenced the building of five clinics in his constituency.
Speaking, while laying the foundation for the construction of the Walowol Gugu in Saminaka, Namtari ward in Yola South LGA, Mijinyawa appreciated the inhabitants’ support.
Mijinyawa told them that the project fulfilled his promise to the community. He said he would have embarked on the clinic’s construction since then, but due to litigation, it took him about nine months.
He said the project would be completed and commissioned very soon and pledged to contact other political wards in his constituency.
The former speaker promised to do his part as a legislator to lobby for the construction of drainages, roads, and youth employment, among other things and pledged to continue promoting better representation.
In his remarks, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Yola South LGA chairman, Ahmadu Muhammed Bingel, commended the lawmaker for prioritising the welfare of his constituents.

Also, the organising secretary of Yola South, Hon Husseini Ahmadu Har, described the lawmaker as a man of his word and applauded him for providing the electorate with the dividends of democracy.
Har called on the youth to be security conscious, not engage in crime, or harbour criminals.
In a goodwill message on behalf of the ward heads, Usman Bello, thanked the lawmaker for embarking on the construction of a people-oriented project and pledged their unalloyed support to him.
