Member representing Jega constituency in the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon Faruk Aliyu Nassarawa has empowered people of his constituency with items for them to become self-reliant in the society.
He stated this yesterday when he briefed journalists at the assembly complex in Birnin Kebbi on his activities at the legislature.
According to him, the items include 15 cars, 200 motorcycles and 200 tailoring machines which were shared to individuals, youths, widows and Islamic schools.
Hon Aliyu who is the majority leader and chairman, committee on youths and sports added that 200 sets of Jerseys/sports wears and 200 boots were also distributed to players in Jega in order to improve sports activities in his constituency.
He said his other activities at the 9th Assembly included renovation of 20 schools and the construction of 10 new ones in Jega and other villages.
Similarly, he paid JAMB, WAEC and NECO registration fees of many candidates in the area apart from construction of many dispensaries and hospitals.
He commended the previous and present administrations for the support of the members to succeed in their respective constituencies.
