Laycon Opens Up On Losing His Inner Voice After BBNaija Win

Reality TV star and rapper Laycon has revealed that he lost his “inner voice” after winning the 2020 edition of the reality show Big Brother Naija.

Laycon, whose real name is Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba, made the revelation in a recent video where he reflected on his personal journey following his victory on the popular show.

According to the rapper the sudden fame and pressure that followed his win left him disconnected from his inner thoughts for a period of time.

“Has the world ever gone silent on you and all you have left are your own thoughts” he said

He explained that he only rediscovered that inner voice in December 2021 after hosting his sold out concert the Icons Fest.

Laycon said the moment of reflection forced him to ask himself difficult questions about his life happiness and the direction he wanted to take.

“The voice kept asking me questions like is this really how you want to live?
Are you enjoying yourself What’s next after this?”he said.

The rapper added that the experience taught him the importance of silence and solitude noting that self reflection helps individuals confront uncomfortable truths and make necessary changes in their lives.
