Leaders Asked To Build Systems That Create Lasting Value

The chief executive officer of Platnova, Dr Benjamin Oyemonlan, has said leadership should be centered on building systems that create lasting value.  He gave the charge during his induction into the 2026 Hall of Fame of the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRMP), Ghana.

Oyemonlan, who was inducted as a Chartered Fellow in Strategic Leadership and Public Resources Management, said the best a leader can do is to ensure that his or her organisation, whether public or private, continues to develop systems that have the greatest impact on its clients.

He said the recognition underscored the responsibility that comes with building financial infrastructure for businesses.

In a press statement he issued on the event, Oyemonlan said, “This recognition is a meaningful reflection of the work we are doing at Platnova and the responsibility that comes with building financial infrastructure for businesses.”

“For me, leadership is about building systems that create lasting value, and I am grateful to everyone on our team who continues to make that vision possible,” he added. CIPRMP said the fellowship recognised Oyemonlan’s contributions to corporate governance, resource management and organisational development.

The institute also cited his entrepreneurial leadership, administrative competence and commitment to accountability, transparency and professional excellence.

Oyemonlan was formally presented with the fellowship and accompanying award at an investiture ceremony held at Platnova’s corporate office, attended by representatives of CIPRMP’s Ghana and Nigeria offices. The recognition emphasises the role of strategic leadership and responsible resource management in developing sustainable businesses and institutions, particularly across the African continent.
