Leicester City have offered Wilfred Ndidi a new two-year contract, DAILY POST reports.
The Foxes are desperate to keep Ndidi following their return to the Premier League.
Ndidi’s current contract will expire at the end of this month.
Leicester City announced last week they are in talks with the Nigeria international over a new contract.
According to Leicester Mercury, the former Premier League champions want the player to stay for another two years at the King Power Stadium.
However, the financial details of the new deal offered to the defensive midfielder was not disclosed.
Ndidi linked up with Leicester from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk for a reported £15m in 2017.
He has made 273 appearances across all competitions, scoring 17 goals and making 17 assists.
