Let Hijrah Herald New Dawn, Says Babayemi

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, has enjoined Muslim brothers and sisters across the country to see the new Hijrah Year as an opportunity for a new beginning and hope for the nation.

He made the call while felicitating with Muslims on the new Hijrah Year,1446 AH in a release made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State.

He said the New Year is another opportunity for the people to further contribute their quota towards ensuring that the country’s economy blossoms while the nation’s body polity is equally enhanced.

Babayemi called for the proper use of the God-given opportunity to witness another year to energise their contributions to improving society.

His words: “Any fresh beginning is an opportunity to redefine one’s strategy to correct past mistakes and improve one’s strategies, going forward. Let’s properly utilize this God-given opportunity to energise our contributions towards making our society better”.
