Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna, Most Rev. Matthew Man-Oso Ndagoso has urged Nigerians to take advantage of its diversity for prosperity.
The archbishop who made the call yesterday during the celebration of Pentecost Sunday in Kaduna, said Nigerians must embrace peaceful coexistence, tolerate one another, adding that every part of this country needs each other.
Ndagoso who is also the vice president of Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria said “our diversity is a gift from God, therefore we must be united in order to fight the common enemy”.
He therefore urged Nigerian leaders to respect each other’s differences, adding that no part of this country should be marginalised, he said. He called on Nigerians to shun divisive statement that will trigger violence in the society especially during this electioneering period, he said.
“Peace must be our watchword throughout this electioneering period. Our diversity should be our source of strength and unity”.
He therefore called on Nigerians to reject vote buying, saying that Nigerians should not sell the future of the coming generation.
