The new chairman of Fune local government area of Yobe State, Hon Alhaji Baba Goni Bade, has appealed to the newly sworn-in 13 councillors and party members to support his administration in order to make Fune greater.

Hon Bade made the call during the swearing-in ceremony of 13 new councillors who were elected during the June 8 local government election in the state.

He said with the co-operation of the councillors, stakeholders, traditional rules and residents, his administration would be able to achieve it’s mission of delivering dividends of democracy and restoring the lost glory of Fune.

“Let me tell you that, if we work together as a team, we will restore the lost glory of Fune as the best local government among the others. We promise we will do more for the interest of our people” he said.

The chairman assured that his administration would work tirelessly to ensure increase in internally generated revenue in Fune local government to enable his administration projects that would impact positively on residents.
