Oshoala came on as a second-half substitute to score Nigeria’s third goal of the game.

In the spur of the moment, Oshoala pulled off her jersey to create an ‘iconic’ image, which has now gone viral on the social media.

The image has also generated mixed reactions from football fans.

However, the Barcelona Femeni forward, who is a Muslim, took to her Instagram page on Friday to react to the debate. She said even though her father was not happy with her mode of celebration, it’s important to know that life is a collection of moments.
