The French outfit confirmed the signing of Orban on their X handle.
Interestingly, Orban’s transfer is a historic one as he becomes the first-ever Nigerian to play for Lyon.
“First player from Nigeria to wear our colors,” the club said.
It is believed the contract is worth €13m and is valid until June 2028.

Additionally, the transfer fee could rise to €20 million with add-ons, and a 20% sell-on clause.
Lyon are not in the best of forms currently as they are in 16th place in the 18-team league table.
The seven-time Ligue 1 champions have only managed four wins from their 18 league games played this season.
This campaign, Orban netted three times in 17 appearances in the Belgian topflight.
