American rapper Montero Lamar Hill, better known as ‘Lil Nas X’, has shared a rare update on his health, telling fans he is in a much better place after spending several months focusing on his recovery.
The rapper revealed that he attended rehabilitation, underwent therapy and worked closely with a psychiatrist. He also spoke openly about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Lil Nas X said 
he is now spending more time with family and taking life at a slower pace. He added that new music is on the way.
The update comes months after his legal troubles and treatment programme. The artist said his focus remains on recovery, personal growth and returning to the work he enjoys.
