The leadership of Labour Party in Plateau State has mobilized its party faithful and admirers from the 17 local government councils of the state and neighbouring states to grace the presidential rally of its presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi and his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed billed for Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos today.

Spokesman of Dakum/ Pwajok campaign council in the state Nuhu Gagara told newsmen on Thursday in Jos that adequate arrangements have been made to receive Obi, his running mate and top shots of the party to Tin City for the rally.

Gagara, who said the presidential rally would be hitch-free as adequate security measures have been taken by security agencies in the state to control the crowd at the Presidential rally.

He added that Plateau has become a home of the Labour Party because both APC and PDP had been swept away as they don’t have anything new to offer to the people of Plateau state anymore.

“We are expecting genuine crowd of people not hired crowd as every Plateau man is desirous to see Peter Obi at the rally,” he said.

The Plateau Labor Party campaign spokesman noted that residents of the state have turned to the Labour Party because the Lalong regime has performed woefully, adding that “in terms of honesty, they are zero. In terms of integrity, you better not mention their names before Plateau people,” Gagara stressed.

Gagara said the people of his state have come to embrace Labour Party because they are tired of watching APC perpetuate corruption at all levels of government.

According to him, the Labour Party today on the Plateau has become a party to beat as both PDP and APC have become spent forces on the Plateau, which, according to him, nobody is looking in their direction.
