He lauded the Emir for his decision to bestow the traditional title of Adon Garin Katsina on Dr. Jibia, stressing that the monarch deserved to be commended for honouring one of the committed and patriotic sons of Katsina State.

“On behalf of the management staff, students and entire MAAUN community, I wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you on the conferment of the title of Adon Garin Katsina on you by the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.

“I equally wish to extend our gratitude and thankfulness to the Emir for finding you worthy of the great honour,” Prof. Gwarzo said.

LEADERSHIP reports that the letter of appointment was conveyed to Dr. Jibia on April 17, 2025, stating that a date for the turbaning ceremony would be communicated to him in due course.
