The appointment of Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III as the new Aseyin followed a meticulous selection process by the town’s 10 kingmakers. He succeeded his predecessor, the late Oba Abdganiy Salawudeen Adekunle, who passed away in 2022.

Born on April 6, 1969, to the esteemed family of Prince Kareem Oladejo Oyebola and Princess Afusat Olabisi Oyebola of Eyinade Royal Compound of Akando, Oba Sefiu hails from the revered royal lineage of Aseyin of Iseyinland.
